About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a HR Business Partner for a 12-month Parental Leave contract to join the team at our Business Centre, located in our Coolangatta beachfront office. Reporting to the Head of People Services, your key accountabilities will include:

  • Responsibility for several client groups in the business such as Community, Innovations, Contact Centre, and Shared Services.
  • Partnering with managers to achieve their people and business objectives
  • Provide coaching, guidance and advice to leaders and employees on people related matters, whilst influencing key business decisions to ensure effective outcomes
  • Diagnose, identify, develop, implement, and evaluate practical HR and cultural solutions that add business value and meet your client group’s needs
  • Ensure leader buy in and delivery on enterprise-wide HR initiatives
  • Work with managers to build on their capability in confidently leading and managing their people.
  • Work with key stakeholders within the broader people portfolio to deliver seamless and holistic initiatives and solutions
  • Collect and share information to ensure that business themes and metrics in relation to people matters, risks and opportunities are identified, reported, and considered for future strategies, initiatives and/or projects

About You

  • Minimum of 3-5 years broad generalist HR experience
  • Understanding and demonstrated practical application of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations frameworks, including individual and enterprise agreements
  • Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and workplace investigation
  • Strong ethical approach ensuring trust, discretion and confidentiality are upheld within all stakeholder interactions
  • Prior experience working in Community Services, Aged Care and/or Disability Services environments will be an advantage
  • Tertiary qualifications in a HR discipline, an AHRI membership are highly desirable
