About the role

We are looking for a passionate, people focussed leader for this exciting opportunity to lead the team at Shanty Creek. The role provides clinical oversight of program delivery, in addition to operational leadership and associated processes at Shanty Creek.

Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, the role will work in close collaboration with the Social and Emotional Wellbeing Team to ensure that residents’ needs are addressed in a holistic manner, to achieve optimal recovery and health outcomes. As a leader in our services, you will provide leadership and guidance to the Shanty Creek team, including setting priorities, monitoring work outcomes and ensuring work is performed in alignment with organisational goals and processes.

You will thrive in this opportunity to:

  • Provide clinical oversight of program delivery and client wellbeing
  • Facilitate and monitor the integration and coordination of residents’ treatment and recovery processes
  • Coordinate and supervise workers who are responsible for the delivery of treatment and recovery services
  • Inspire your team to deliver services aligned to LLW purpose and strategy
  • Lead a service built on commitment to community, clients and service innovation

What you will bring to the role

Your high level of leadership skills together with exceptional stakeholder relationship will ensure success in the role. Additionally, you will also possess the following skills and experience:

  • A bachelor level qualification in a relevant human services field such as psychology, social work or allied health with a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience
  • Substantial experience working within culturally secure programs and a clear articulation of these values
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a multidisciplinary team providing services to clients with complex needs including experience in intake, assessment, screening, case management, case review and referral
  • Contemporary knowledge and application of evidence-based individual and group interventions and clinical practice in drug and alcohol treatment and recovery processes such as cognitive behavioural therapies, motivational interviewing, interpersonal therapeutic strategies

The salary range for this role is from $90,441.52 to $94,433.04 depending on experience.
