We seek an experienced person with many attributes, including:

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Some mechanical/electrical aptitude/experience
  • Advanced computer skills

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience in Warehouse Management
  • Connect/Disconnect Electrical Licence would be a nice to have
  • Electrical knowledge and mechanically minded preferable
  • Understanding and experience of stock management
  • Current Forklift licence
  • Current Australian Drivers licence and reliable car
  • Able to use basic power tools
  • Packing and dispatching goods to clients
  • Booking and tracking couriers by phone or online
  • Drop off/pick up goods from clients or local suppliers or local trades
  • Receiving and checking of goods
  • Able to set up or change processes, along with updating procedural manuals
  • Knowledge on how to programme machines (desirable)
  • Report defects, follow up and report inventory adjustment requirements relating to warranties
  • Notify Manager when stock levels are low
  • Maintenance of warehouse and workbench area
  • Co-ordinate logistics
  • Clean staff amenities
  • Any other activities or duties that are required by Management
  • Computer literate - Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook/Email, Accounting packages
  • Self-motivated
  • Work under pressure and be fast but accurate
  • Trustworthy, able to work unsupervised and be a good communicator
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good presentation and grooming
