About the Opportunity:

We have an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial Customer Business Manager to lead our Independents account team in Sydney, with the responsibility for growing our iconic consumer brands including Kleenex, Viva, Huggies and Kotex into the Independents channel.

We are now hiring for a Customer Business Manager who will build sales capabilities, coach, and lead to the national Independents sales team. You will have scope within the channel to run tailored account programs and will be given autonomy to develop and execute your own account strategy within the portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

Reporting to our Senior Business Manager, you will plan and implement strategic customer business plans, client business reviews, price negotiations and promotional plans. You will create and evaluate Joint Business Plans (JBP’s) with regards to volume, sales, profit, and category growth.

The Customer Business Manager will implement category strategies and will ensure that all customer requirements are actioned and communicated in a timely manner. In addition, you will have the responsibility for leading the growth and personal development of a team of high-performance National Account Managers.

Skills & Experience:

Ideally holding Degree qualifications, you have proven experience in FMCG sales, preferably as a Customer Business Manager, Category Manager, or National Account Manager working with grocery accounts. Proven success within the Independents customer channel is preferred.

You are an experienced team leader and are comfortable applying data insights and macro trends to build business within key accounts. You have a passion for developing others, posess a growth-mindset, and are proficient with systems such as: IRI, Quantium, and SAP.
