The Team
Shine Lawyers is fortunate to work with people across a range of personal litigation matters in 40+ offices nationwide. Delivering this message to the general public and so many potential clients is handled by our dynamic marketing team who use commercial acumen, creativity and a strong work ethic to assist the growth of each of our practices. To support this growth, we are now seeking a Marketing Advisor to join our team in the Brisbane CBD head office , on a full-time, permanent basis, to assist in planning, coordinating, and executing the Shine Lawyers brand strategy.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role is suited to a highly motivated professional with experience contributing to the delivery of a successful marketing strategy, via multiple channels. You’ll support the delivery of marketing and business development strategies, ensuring integration with the broader marketing program and in alignment with growth strategies.

You’ll design, plan and coordinate campaigns, events and initiatives that deliver to set objectives, maximise return on investment and drive performance improvements across brand, acquisition, advocacy, and client experience. You’ll also act as a lead liaison between the wider marketing team and our internal clients across the Shine Justice group.

Responsibilities Include
  • Support the design, planning and execution of marketing and business development programs spanning brand, acquisition, advocacy and client experience for both direct to consumer and for audiences that influence prospective and current clients of Shine.
  • Support the development of positioning strategies across brands and practices
  • Research and discover new opportunities to support growth strategies at a local, state and national level
  • Coordinate and activate sponsorships, ensuring delivery of benefits is met and return on investment is maximised. This includes running events and at times acting as an ambassador for Shine.
  • Prepare analysis and reporting on program performance and external market influences
  • Monitor, analyse and utilises data led insights to guide recommendations and optimisations
  • Ensure that all marketing activities and consumer touchpoints are client focused and consistent with the brand’s vision and values
  • Maintain Shine’s brand integrity by ensuring regulatory compliance across all markets and channels
  • Act as the main point of contact with internal clients and shared service teams to streamline communication and support effective delivery of programs
  • Contribute to the financial management of Marketing’s OPEX budget
  • Support strategic firm-wide projects and innovations, collaborating cross functionally and with suppliers to deliver on time and to project objectives
  • Keep abreast of regulatory updates for each state including any new relevant case law, as well as client feedback data to effectively provide direction and advice to internal stakeholders
  • Some local and interstate travel may be required on occasion
Required Skills
  • Demonstrated experience in a marketing or business development role that required you to market to both consumers and B2B
  • Strong understanding of the full marketing mix, including digital
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Experience in writing, producing copy, editing and the development of communications
  • Ability to work collaboratively or independently, to prioritise work requirements, work autonomously when appropriate, consult appropriately and respond to direction in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills and an ability to build relationships both internally and externally
  • Well-developed analytical skills, specifically the ability to analyse data, draw conclusions, execute recommendations and implement remedies.
  • Strong proficiency across Microsoft Office suite is essential
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing (preferred) or a relevant degree in Management, Business, Commerce or similar
