The role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our Global Express Division based at the Brisbane Airport. Working Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for all aspects of Express Parcels freight coordination and performance management. Through effective data analysis, you will implement continuous improvement initiatives that will benefit the organisation through this exciting time of transformation and growth.

As the Operations Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide detailed analysis on operational and network issues, costs and services, along with performance and DIFOT.
  • Conduct regular audits and billing checks as instructed by management.
  • Manage and promote continuous improvement initiatives and customer projects.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and customers to provide resolutions to service enquiries.
  • Support the team with freight bookings and coordination.
  • Produce status, performance, forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Attend HSE induction and training as required by the business.


About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within Transport/Logistics.
  • Demonstrated history in data analysis and creating reports for management.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills – written and verbal.
  • The ability to build and develop internal/external stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborative orientation and the ability to work autonomously within a dynamic environment.
  • Sound working knowledge and understanding of HSE-related legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks within a time critical work environment.
  • Computer literacy – Advanced MS Office Suite skills especially high proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint.
