In the role of Prosecution Support Officer, you will become a member of the Prosecution Services Unit. You will provide support to the unit by, amongst other things, preparing correspondence and other documentation, effectively adjudicating minor breaches of the legislation enforced by the department and issuing penalty infringement notices for camera-detected offences in a timely and efficient manner.

Accountabilities include:

- Adjudicating uncomplicated breaches of legislation and issuing infringement notices in relation to such breaches.

- Drafting letters, memos, reports, submissions and other documentation in accordance with departmental standards.

- Camera-detected Offence image verification in relation to registration, insurance, seat belts and mobile phone use offences.

- Preparation of new adjudication files.

- Liaising, consulting and maintaining effective relationships with team members and internal and external clients and stakeholders.

- Responding to a small number of customer infringement enquiries transferred from TMR Contact Centre about mobile phone and seat belt offences.

- Undertake the role in accordance with the requirements of s26(1) of the Public Service Act 2008 and at all times ensure that the principles as found in the Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service are upheld in the carrying out of all duties.

This role reports to the Operations Manager.
