A great opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Case Manager to join an organisation in creating a meaningful difference!

Our client was established over 3 decades ago with the noble aim to support young people with an intellectual/learning disability towards independence. Due to the growth and changing needs of the community they now provide a wide array of services and programs the support, create opportunities and promote independent living for people with disabilities or at-risk youths. They are seeking an experienced Senior Case Manager to join their BEROS Petrie Team !

Job Responsibilities:
  • Planning and coordinating activities to foster involvement of at risk youth (and their families)
  • Working with youth aged 12 - 18 in Child Safety placement
  • Ensuring that safety and well-being practices are implemented
  • Liaise, linking, maintaining effective professional relationships with the community and necessary government organisations
  • Organising and participating in public education seminars, workshops, groups and training for youth and service providers
  • Facilitating connections between youth and their community
  • Promoting awareness and positive connections for cases
  • Ensuring the lawful rights of youths are respected and in line with Organisation Policies
Skills and Experience Requirements:
  • Working with Children’s’ Check is required
  • Qualified degree in either Social Work, Human Services or relevant field
  • Valid Drivers' License required
  • Demonstrated skills of working with diverse communities including but not limited to, ABTSI, CALD and LGBTIQAP+ youths, families services and communities
  • Ability to assess your own work, participate as a team member and contribute to further development
  • Strong work-ethic and initiative to undertake facilitative and administrative roles
  • Demonstrated knowledge in understanding the effects of various trauma and attachment styles
  • Proven ability in clear and effective communication in building ongoing relationships
