Our client is a boutique independent strategic corporate real estate consulting & development firm, made up of some of the best and most experienced minds in the industry.

They now have an exciting new opportunity for an experience development analyst to assist in driving new and existing development outcomes.

Using their knowledge and networks within the investment and capital markets at the beginning of the development timeline, our client works with current and future landowners to determine the investment profile required to participate. They are commercial and they are creative.

With their development structuring expertise, they generate a market facing development business case that aligns investment objectives, project deliverables and exit solutions to minimise development risk and maximise returns.

Our client has a unique blend of commercial acumen and appreciation for good design with an ambition to enhance asset performance and value through creating transformational and desirable places for people. They leverage their development and transactional expertise; they tune the business case through the development stages continually enhancing value for those owning or investing in the development.

As the successful candidate, you will be exposed to a number of high-profile large format developments, across a range of asset classes. You will work on new opportunities, as well as existing projects and will be mentored and supported by some of the best in the business. The pedigree and experience collated in this relatively small team environment, represents the opportunity to build the foundations for a very successful property career. The opportunities are endless and it is expected that the successful candidate will progress over time into Development Management.

What will my key deliverables be?

  • Providing detailed analysis of business development/acquisition opportunities
  • Preparation and maintenance of land bank and builtform master feasibilities
  • Assist in forecasting tasks including rentals, cap rates, land values, etc.
  • Maintain databases on transactions and lease expiry register
  • Review land tax and rates notices
  • Conduct research on relevant sectors
  • Maintain competition register on competing land banks
  • Assist with preparation of reports and presentations to senior stakeholders
  • Support submissions and marketing as required
  • Interact and manage relationships with internal stakeholder groups
  • Establish and manage relationships with external consultants, agents, researchers and valuers
As the ideal applicant you will possess:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Economics, Property Valuation, Investment or Finance
  • 2 years previous experience in the property industry in an analyst role
  • Demonstrated proficiency with financial modelling
  • Highly developed commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
