Job summary:
The Red Hat Asia Pacific (APAC) Talent Acquisition (TA) team is looking for a Talent Scout to join us in Brisbane, Australia on a 6-month contract. In this role, you will support our recruitment function by working on talent projects to help us identify future Red Hat’s associates. You will use a variety of tools like LinkedIn, Talent Neuron, Avature, PIPL, and ICIMs to help us understand the talent market and attract the right people to Red Hat. You’ll need to have a passion for sourcing and an enthusiasm to uncover hidden talent.
Primary job responsibilities:
  • Research and identify potential future Red Hatters using a variety of sourcing tools including social media and internet search
  • Partner with your TA colleagues and work together to identify future Red Hatters
  • Proactively market potential candidates to your TA colleagues
  • Become an ambassador of the Red Hat brand; grow your audience, deliver high-quality and relevant content, and interact with communities and individuals on social media
  • Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements
  • Use analytical, data-driven sourcing strategies to produce effective and efficient search results
  • Understand business strategies and challenges and underlying talent strategies
Required skills:
  • Experience working as a recruiter, researcher, or sourcer
  • Passionate about finding the best talent in the market for any given role
  • Excellent business insight and success in presenting the company's business model
  • Solid experience with professional social media tools like LinkedIn
  • Experience with database searching and management
  • Ability to thrive in a team-based, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high-touch, multi-location recruitment
  • Active attitude with a demonstrated ability to persuade people with a consultative approach
