Your Team

The Core Platform Lotteries and Keno team connects as a crucial interface with the Lotteries and Keno product teams, working closely with key business stakeholders to translate needs into technology capability. The function will bring value by ensuring technology outputs support business initiatives and understands and creates value with the products and services the business and external customers will consume.

What you’ll do

As the Head of Core Platforms, you will lead the Core Platforms Lotteries and Keno team, partnering with the Lotteries and Keno business. You will provide platform expertise, deliver projects and BAU services. Working with the Lotteries and Keno team to execute a newly developed Technology strategy.

You are a Senior Technology Leader, accountable for managing platforms that operate 24x7x365 including technical and design decisions and delivery across product-centric teams for Lotteries Core and Keno Core. You will lead innovation and exploration to identify and understand how to operate and add value, ensuring technology is continually improved and of the highest quality on a global scale.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience leading complex core systems with proven experience leading a customer facing 24/7 complex platform environment advising on a diverse set of strategic and operational issues.
  • Experience in software delivery (software testing, development, release, and/or technical operational management) within multiple delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
  • A track record of continuous delivery of incremental value at scale multiple digital products in multi-team, multi-business environments.
  • Demonstrate innovative thinking and have the broad knowledge and commercial aptitude to contribute product ideas with the gravitas to influence at the most senior level.
  • Have a strong background in the deployment of Information and process systems and change programmes to underpin business strategy in large companies.
