ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is Australia's largest coal miner and exporter, the world's largest supplier to the sea borne coking coal market, and the largest coal producer and supplier of metallurgical coal. The client has several mine sites across the Bowen Basin consisting primarily of open cut mines.
ABOUT THE ROLE
  • You're an experienced CHPP operator who has attained processing RIIs to support your practical knowledge and experience.
  • You are confident in your ability to monitor and control the operation of an open cut CHPP to deliver on product and optimise production.
  • Proactively identify and rectify hazards, damage and defects in accordance with site policies and procedures.
  • Perform production tasks; yard operations, inspections and maintaining equipment, troubleshooting, control room operations, TLO and other CHPP operations as required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You demonstrate an absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential.
  • Proven ability to work harmoniously as part of a team, independently and unsupervised, with an applied understanding of how you impact upon the achievement of team objectives.
  • You possess the ability and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with mine working procedures.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Processing RIIs competencies listed per below.
  • Minimum 6 months demonstrated mining experience with Scenario (skills list) verified by an SSE or delegate.

    • RIIPRO301D Conduct crushing and screening plant operations

    • RIIWBP203D Treat and dispose of rejects and tailings
    • RIIMCP301D Monitor coal preparation plant operations
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Sound Work History
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Right to Work in Australia
  • SSE/ Delegate Signed Skills List
  • Coal Board Medical or willing to obtain
  • Standard 11 or equivalent or willing to obtain
  • Electrical Trade or Mechanical Trade preferred
