An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated educator to join the leadership team. In this role you will deliver the vision of the department and improve the educational outcomes of students in their school. You will achieve this by developing the quality of teaching and learning as well as nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders.

This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and accordingly any appointment (and extension to this appointment) will not extend beyond 12 months.

About Jinabara State School

Jinibara is the collective tribal language group which was last composed of four local Aboriginal Tribes Dungidau, Dala, Nalbo and Garumaga. The place of general meeting was at Buruja (Mount Archer). The name 'Jinibara' represents a collective gathering in a place where important decisions are made'. The three words: Pride, Respect, Knowledge denote the legacy that the founding parents envisioned that the Jinibara State School would leave with every enrolled student. Pride in oneself and their achievements. Respect for others. Knowledge on which to base informed decisions.

Your Role

As the Principal you will have responsibility for the following:

A Mandatory Requirement Of This Role Is
  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. For more information please CLICK HERE .
