Regis Lutwyche

Regis Lutwyche is a contemporary aged care facility located in the inner north suburb of Brisbane on the famed Kedron Brook Trail. Our aged care home is located 13 minutes to Brisbane Airport and 15 minutes drive to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, the Prince Charles Hospital and St Vincent Private Hospital. A bus stop outside the home provides convenient access to shops, restaurants and Lutwyche Shopping Mall.

About The Role

We currently have an opportunity for a Receptionist to join the team at our Regis Lutwyche home. Youwould be required to work Friday and Saturday each week and also additional work when needed to cover leave.Previous experience in Healthcare Administration is desirable. This position will suit someone who is outgoing, friendly and who relates well to the elderly. It requires someone with an excellent phone manner and IT Skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answering all telephone enquiries
  • Maintain files and documentation
  • General typing and data entry
  • Stationery ordering and petty cash management
  • Assisting with staff rosters and training schedules
  • Ensure efficient operation of the front reception area
  • Assisting with visitor enquiries and conducting home tours
Skills

& Experience
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in an autonomous capacity
  • Strong accuracy and data entry skills
  • PC literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel)
  • Ability to learn internal software systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding communication, telephone and customer service skills
  • Experience working within a busy and constantly changing environment
  • Bright and friendly demeanour, with a willingness to assist with all customer and resident enquiries
To be eligible to join the team at Regis we require the following:
  • Consistent with State and Territory public health orders and with Regis’ mandatory vaccination policy, all candidates must produce evidence that they have received the current (i.e. 2021) seasonal influenza vaccination or medical evidence to Regis’ satisfaction of an accepted clinical contraindication to receiving the influenza vaccination
