A role providing leadership and management.

THE ROLE

This role will provide leadership, management and support to all the Mission Enterprise activities of The Salvation Army (TSA) in Bundamba.You will be responsible for driving change and leading the improvement of service levels thorough the development of the leadership capabilities of the current managers. You will identify and implement improved sales and customer services strategies, including the training and development of staff in line with the TSA Mission, ensuring policies are in place that result in best practice outcomes.

You will supervise the managers of; the Bundamba Family Store, Bundamba Return It Recycling Centre and Watch Them Grow Nursery. You will be responsible for the financial management of Mission Enterprises, working with each service to manage budgets, improve performance and ensure all accounting processes are managed in line with TSA protocols.

You will create and support a positive work culture which minimises staff turnover, absenteeism and complaints.

About You

You offer a track record in leading others and developing them so they make their best contribution. Your experience extends to business and financial management, as well as budgeting. This is built on a foundation of understanding working in the not for profit sector. Your experience in church management would be welcome. We value your tertiary qualification, especially if in business management or similar. Of course you are a clear, positive and influential communicator who builds rapport and respect with others.

HOURS AND SALARY

This is a full-time position of 38 hours weekly with a 2 year fixed term.
