We now have a unique opportunity for a Professor, Humanities. This full-time continuing appointment is based at the Bebegu-Yumba campus in Townsville.

About you
As a strong educational leader, you have a proven track record of research, teaching and engagement in one or more of the humanities disciplines. As a senior academic you also have the lived experience from your background as an educator coupled with an ability to develop research, impact and engagement links and build and foster research capacity in others.

Through collaboration and engagement, you have developed strong working relationships with colleagues, professional associations and relevant industry bodies both nationally and internationally.

About the role
Working with the Humanities and Creative Arts team, you will build research capacity and continuous improvement in learning and teaching whilst attracting and supervising Higher Degree Research students and teaching into the undergraduate programs.
