The opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is recruiting a number of people to fulfil various roles within the Wedgetail Information Security (INFOSEC) as Cyber Network Security Specialists. All roles within the INFOSEC team will be supporting the AEW&C Wedgetail Program at either RAAF Base Williamtown or Brisbane CBD. The role requires a dynamic individual who will be responsible for a wide range of information security duties across the Wedgetail program. Working closely with INFOSEC teammates, you'll work with the customer and a large number of multi-disciplinary teams from different organisations to ensure the requirements of the ISM and the PSPF are appropriately met.

To be considered for a role, you must have:

  • The ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government NV 2 Security Clearance *.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • An attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Excellent time management and the ability to meet evolving deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • High degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to support limited interstate travel (where required)
  • An eagerness to develop and obtain new skills and qualifications **.
The following skills will be highly regarded, but are not essential for the role:

  • Experience in interpreting and implementing physical security and/or information security standards.
  • Understanding of developing and implementing information security practices in an engineering environment.
  • IT System Administration
  • Security knowledge across any of the following:
  • Networking
  • Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
  • Information Security Certification and Accreditation
  • Engineering experience or background
  • Software/systems development
  • Information Security risk management
