About the Role

To be involved in educational and supervisory services to the junior ophthalmology registrars, residents as well as medical students.
Maintain the process of clinical cataract audit.
Participate in the Ophthalmology Outpatient clinics at RBWH and STARS to help manage long-wait new and review OPD patient appointments as well as their post-ops.
Undertake independent surgery as required.
Assist in the training of junior medical officers and students and particularly to encourage training and participation in Ophthalmology at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
Participate in research projects, in cooperation and collaboration with staff from any discipline at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and related hospitals.
Lead the development and continuing operation of quality assurance programmes.
