We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Planning & Analysis Coordinator to join our Financial Planning Team on a fixed term basis for a period of 12 months. This role will provide financial, commercial and planning support to your Finance Business Partners, enabling them to prepare detailed analysis on which the business will make effective commercial decisions.

The Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include

  • Maintaining regular contact with Finance Business Partners and ensure reporting requirements are met.
  • Preparing and having responsibility for accurate, reliable and informative management information for Finance Business Partners.
  • Have a continuous improvement mind-set and propose ways in which to improve our reporting.
  • Providing data preparation, centralised system loading and analysis support to the annual corporate planning process.
  • Collating and preparing inputs to various Management Information reports including variance analysis on monthly financial performance and Business Unit KPIs for Executive and Board level papers.
  • Supporting Quarterly Business Forecast and Review meetings with centralised data preparation and presentation templates, working closely with Finance business support teams.
  • Conducing detailed variance and commercial analysis.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
  • High standard of Maths (Higher, Advanced Higher, A-level)
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel, particularly the use of pivot tables and lookups
  • Evidence of working to a high degree of accuracy within tight deadlines
  • Used to working with large volumes of data
  • A strong team player who is resilient, motivated and not easily discouraged
  • Ability to plan and organise own workload and to prioritise and manage expectations and deadlines
  • Intermediate knowledge of other Microsoft Office packages
