As an Administration manager you will provide administrative, financial, secretarial and clerical support to senior management and all departments working in a fast-paced environment. You will have one direct report, be responsible for payroll and ensuring all compliance is up to date.

With a focus on commitment, service quality and reliability while also putting their staff first, they are seeking a like-minded customer focused Administration manager who can take accountability, be reliable and ensure a smooth running of the office.

About the Role:

As an Administration manager you will provide administrative, financial, secretarial and clerical support to senior management and all departments working in a fast-paced environment. You will have one direct report, be responsible for payroll and ensuring all compliance is up to date.

Hours will be 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday will be 8.30am to 3.30pm with extra hours as the business requires from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

  • End to end payroll for up to 150 staff
  • Review, verify, and match invoices.
  • Set Invoices for payment and track payments - processing of invoices and payments runs.
  • Compliance management - ensuring all records and databased are up to date
  • Preparation and lodgement of compliance items to various statutory bodies
  • Handling incoming calls and other communications.
  • Finance and general administrative duties as required
  • Assisting senior management in the preparation of reports, letters, contracts and other documents in Excel, PDF and WORD format.

Key Capabilities

  • Experience in payroll processing
  • Office or administration management experience
  • Experience using Xero, MYOB, Microsoft Excel/Word. (knowledge in XERO is preferable)
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and not afraid to take accountability.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while ensuring high attention to detail
  • A good team player and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Ideally you will have experience in Accounting / Bookkeeping but not compulsory.
  • Flexible can-do attitude who can work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated team player, but able to work independently ·
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to maintain a high level of efficiency in a busy environment.
