JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview / Responsibilities:

Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Ampol to deliver leading maintenance services to their Lytton site.

We are currently seeking applications from experienced Materials Officers / Storespersons with significant bulk yard and dangerous goods handling. The successful candidate for this permanent role will be responsible for the coordination of all stores-based materials, plant, consumables, tools and equipment for the Ampol Lytton Refinery, including receipt, dispatch, picking, packing and preservation activities.

This Brisbane-based position is not a supervisory or management role. At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place.

Responsibilities
  • Receive deliveries into bulk storage yard and facilities
  • Enter receipt of deliveries into SAP Materials Management System in line with procedures
  • All Material Rejection Advices (MRA) are completed in real time and followed through as necessary
  • All receipted goods, including dangerous and hazardous materials, are stowed in allocated areas in accordance with legislative requirements
  • Ensure all items are packaged following correct preservation procedure SAP number written on item prior to storage
  • Gas and chemical bund checks are completed weekly
  • Compliance to both Ampol and Wood plc Risk Management, Quality Assurance and Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures.
Skills / Qualifications:
  • You must have Forklift Qualification and High Risk Licence
  • Possession or ability to gain Dangerous Goods Certification
  • Certificate III Warehousing and Distribution is desirable but not essential
  • Background within mechanical or electrical fields, working with or interpreting parts and materials
  • Industry experience within oil and gas, construction or maintenance
  • Knowledge of dangerous goods handling, storage and preservation and legislative requirements
  • Basic PC skills is essential. Knowledge of basic SAP will be very advantageous.
  • Proficient in the use of SAP, Materials Management Systems, HSE and Quality Management Systems is desirable.
