Field Hands On Citrus & Mango Farms

Private Company - Gayndah, QLD

Any Industry
Source: uWorkin

Starting early-June we are requiring 20 workers for a citrus farm in Gayndah Queensland.

The position will involve planting, harvesting and packing of a range of fruit, as well as general farm labouring tasks. These may include irrigation maintenance, tying plants to stakes, preparing seedlings and other farm maintenance tasks.

The work is for a 3 month period. Once the work in Gayndah is completed we want the same team to redeploy to a Mango farm in Berry Springs, NT. The job position will remain the same but it will be harvesting mangoes instead of citrus and will be for approximately 4 months.

At both placements you will be working at least 30 hrs per week, work is generally 5-6 days a week and you must be willing to work on weekends.

Work will be paid under the Horticulture Award at $24.80/hour.

The work you will be doing is hard and physically demanding. It will involve a lot of bending. You need to be fit and in good physical condition to do this work.

We are only interested in applicants who are willing to work the full 7 months at both placements.
