The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to support Project Currawong - formally known as JP 2072 Phase 2B - delivering an integrated Battlefield Telecommunications Network (I-BTN) system (including on-the-move capability) to the Australian Army and Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).

Responsibilities

  • Assists in analyzing production supply chain data to define order quantities. Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements and customer orders.
  • Providing supply chain guidance to production team members.
  • Processes material returned from customers. Assists in the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performance.
  • Processes documentation associated with repair items and warranty claims.
  • Assists with identifying supply chain problems, determining cause, and developing and implementing corrective actions.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience within dynamic high priority supply chains. Specifically, the acquisition, movement, and tracking of spares and assets through the supply chain from source to end user.
  • Demonstrated understanding of supply chain support to acquisition and sustainment teams.
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
