AusHail is a Roofing company specialising in metal roof replacements following storm damage.

We are looking for experienced and semi-experienced roofers and crews to join our team in Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast.

All roles require transportation to get to work and a White Card or ability to obtain one.

You will at least know how to walk on a roof, take off and put on sheets and be willing to learn the other skills required of a roofer.

You would start out placed into an existing crew, to gage your skill level and give you any training in little skills you may be missing.

If you have some roofing skills or experience but are not completely capable of roofing, we may consider starting you off as a Labourer and training you up, but we expect at least some roofing knowledge if you are applying for this role.


  • Presentable: You are the face of our company when our clients and their neighbours see you working on roofs.
  • Skilled: Ideally, we are looking for somebody who knows how to roof start-to-finish. If your skills aren't quite there yet, please be honest about this and we can try to place you into a more suitable position until you can be trained up to the role you want.
  • Reliable: Show up on time and to the right place. Do this regularly.
  • Accountable: Take responsibility for your work. If you make a mistake, let someone know so we can fix it before it becomes a bigger issue. If you're not sure how to do something, ask. If you are asked to come back and fix something, do that in a timely manner.


  • Regular Pay Sick and Holiday leave: on a proper payslip, without the need for your own ABN.
  • Fair Pay: Our pay varies, depending on the location the complexity of the build and how efficiently you work. We pay our roofers well and expect quality work in exchange. Specifics can be discussed in an interview.
  • Support: Each crew is assigned to a Site Manager who deals with the client, the paperwork, the material orders and any major problems with the build.
  • Culture: We hire people who are decent to work with. We then hire more decent people to make sure our current people are in good company. We do not micromanage but we do expect everyone to treat each other with respect and communicate with each other effectively.

Applicants for this position should have an AU residency or a valid AU work visa.
