Leisure & Lifestyle Officer - Aged Care - Gold Coast
We are seeking a qualified Lifestyle Coordinator with aged care experience to fill this permanent full-time opportunity within a respected nursing home on the Gold Coast.

The Position

This is a full-time, permanent Lifestyle Coordinator opportunity. In this busy and rewarding role, you will deliver comprehensive individual lifestyle programs and facilitate the participation of residents in a variety of experiences that improves their quality of life. You will work alongside the nursing team to examine resident assessments & care plans & develop lifestyle programs to improve the quality of their days.

The ProfessionalWe are looking for a resident-focused people person, someone who can hit the ground running and think independently. You must have experience in a Lifestyle Coordinator role within an aged care facility.

We're looking for dynamic and innovative individuals who can empower our clients and support them in achieving their therapeutic goals.

The Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of a Diploma qualification in Leisure and Health or Certificate IV (Lifestyle & Leisure) highly desirable
  • A passion for Aged Care
  • Be flexible when required
  • The capacity to work well autonomously and be a team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • An approachable & caring demeanour
  • Experience coordinating & evaluating group & individual programs
  • An innovative approach to Lifestyle.
  • Experience with resident care planning & assessments
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Police Check
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
