Eastwood Property Management known as Eastwood Apartments, which is a brand-new building located in Woolloongabba, offers service apartments for all the convenience of inner-city accommodation without the traffic, noise, fumes and the crowds of the urban jungle.

Eastwood offers an extensive list of features, such as jet pool and hot tub, BBQ facilities and an outdoor cinema, which are all on the rooftop overlooking the Brisbane CBD. All serviced apartments in the building feature Foxtel, full kitchen, private laundry and bathroom, and luxurious bedding giving guests a great alternative to their traditional hotel room, and also all come with complimentary undercover and secure parking.

We are on the search for an experienced Service Apartment Manager in charge of the overall organisational and operational control of the apartment, including hospitality service to customers, staff management, revenue management, marketing and all consistency within the apartment.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Supervise daily service operations, including reception, reservation, housekeeping and security
  • Conflict resolution skills to deal with guest complaints and manage guest reviews
  • Employee recruitment, training and evaluate staff performance; Assign duties and schedule shifts for staff
  • Schedule and oversee repair and maintenance services of the complex’s facilities and set up contracts with suppliers
  • Manage stock levels and order linen and room suppliers
  • Organise documentation record for compulsory check from relevant departments
  • Ensure necessary standards for safety practices of employees and guests, develop and maintain proper emergency and security procedures, ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • Manage budgets and finances and monitor revenues and expenses
  • Manage daily banking and monthly payrolls, prepare financial statements and operation reports
  • Monitor market trend and create marketing strategies, conduct yield management
  • Coordinate with external parties, provide guest tourism information and arrange transportation for guests if required

Skills and Experience needed:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry
  • Minimum of Diploma in Hotel Management or similar. Higher level qualification i.e., Bachelors / Masters of Hotel Management or similar is highly preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong leadership qualities, and an ability to motivate and develop employees.
  • With an ability to evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
