About the role

We are looking for a talented and driven Inside Education Sales Account Manager that will thrive in a dynamic and fast paced sales environment. This position plays a fundamental role in achieving JB Hi-Fi Solutions' education team revenue growth objectives and is primarily responsible for contacting, qualifying and closing sales with current and prospect educational accounts.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Outbound Calls to new and current EDU customers
  • Prospecting and building a pipeline of opportunities
  • Preparing and following up quotes to customers
  • Understanding customer needs and assisting with client enquiries
  • Ensuring all set targets and KPI's are met
  • Managing and growing a portfolio of accounts

About you

We are looking for individuals who possess the below experience, qualifications and skills:

  • Previous experience in an IT sales role, ideally phone based (advantageous)
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • Have an understanding of the education market and IT products and services relevant to education
  • Client focused i.e. demonstrated customer service skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, including an ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and manage a varied workload in a busy professional environment
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative in problem solving and exercising judgment
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Resilience, drive and optimism
  • A great team player who can work autonomously
