Melt Pizzeria and Tapas Bar

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Head Chef, you will be responsible for

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and proactive full-time chef to join our small team.

  • Preparing and cooking food according to customer orders
  • Ensuring that all dishes created are of high quality and presented well
  • Following and complying with food hygiene regulations, safe work practice and knowledge of allergy restricted food
  • Experience in Italian and Spanish Cuisine is a plus


Skills And Experience

The successful applicant will be confident in their skills, motivated to perform and will need to demonstrate:
  • Minimum Cert IV in Cookery and 2-year experience working in a similar role
  • Uncompromising attitude towards high food quality, presentation, and safety
  • Strong communications skills and grace under pressure and able to work well within a team
  • Excellent planning skills and the ability to think on your feet even under pressure
  • Available on weekends and public holiday
  • Ability to support the Head Chef and contribute to the venue
  • Relevant cookery qualification and experience is preferred

This role on offer is subjected to a probationary period.

A Salary package ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 p.a. plus superannuation is available for the right candidate.
