Our Sales Assistants support the Store Manager with the day to day operations and financial management of the store, ensuring the store is presentable, inclusive of customer service and adequate stock levels.

About The Role

Your interest in retail and customer service will be a positive start in this position. You have quite possibly already begun your experience in a retail position and are looking forward to broadening your skills and exposure to this kind of work. You will find yourself carrying out a varied and daily list of tasks, including assisting in opening and closing, our cash and payment processes, ensuring cleanliness standards are maintained, coordinating the collection of containers and responding to customer enquiries.

About You

You will enjoy interacting with customers and colleagues. You may well have recycling experience and any background in retail or customer service will provide a head start in this position. Of course you are self-motivated and have similar values to us here at The Salvation Army. You are well organised, able to prioritise and manage your time effectively.


This is a casual role.
