Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated educator to join the leadership team. In this role you will deliver the vision of the department and improve the educational outcomes of students in their school. You will achieve this by developing the quality of teaching and learning as well as nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders. This position is expected to commence 12 July 2021 unless otherwise determined.

About Home Hill State School

Home Hill State School is a Band 7 school with ten classes from Prep to Year 6 in the North Queensland Region. It is located approximately one-hundred kilometres north of Bowen and south of Townsville. The Bruce Highway passes through the township of Home Hill. Home Hill is a rural farming community of the Burdekin Shire and is predominately a sugar cane growing district with a sugar mill. The district is made up of neighbouring townships of Ayr, Home Hill and other smaller centres. Home Hill is situated on the southern side of the Burdekin River and a short ten minute drive north across the Burdekin Bridge to its 'twin town' of Ayr.

Your Role

As the Principal, you will have responsibility for the following:

A mandatory requirement of this role is:
