Utilise your excellent Customer Service and move your skills into an IT Career
Work on a roster, hours will vary Monday to Friday with some weekends

The Company

Family owned business, who are very successful in their field of technology. They are a wonderful growing business who are supportive and provide a great culture. They also have good mentors who are able to train their new staff.

The Role

The role is to provide troubleshooting over the phone or email to their customers, while providing an exceptional and courteous customer experience. Your priority skills will be your customer service and your technical aptitude in computers. The rest can be trained.

The successful candidate will be available to work weekdays and weekends. Training will be provided within their head office in Melbourne (accommodation provided if outside of Melbourne city). The current 6-week rotating roster is between the hours of 7am to 10.30pm. This roster is subject to change due to staffing levels and workload.

What you need to do to get this job?

If you have a genuine interest in IT, ensure you provide examples on your resume, proven experience (paid or unpaid, or included as part of your job) where you have been the go to or fix it person for anything to do with IT.

Duties will include

Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional manner
Be able to resolve issues over the phone
Accurately record client technical information and faults and raise any activities where required
Be able to follow up and close cases
Develop good relationships with merchants to instil confidence
Participate in product training and share knowledge throughout the team
Perform technical services, installations and relocations of machines
Liaise with technical team
Provide technical assistance and support to resolve any issues
Complete detailed service reports
Field work if/when required (this will depend on where you live)

Skills and Experience

IT or Business Qualification or relevant certification desired but not necessary
Have the technical aptitude to problem solve
Be able to work on a roster and be on call with flexibility
Previous customer service skills, where you have been trained to be courteous and respectful
Exceptional computer skills
