Integrated Logistics Support - ILS - Officer Naval
North Queensland based Contract role 6 months

The ILS Officer will collaborate with Management, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply and
Training functions as well as within the wider Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team.
You will provide Logistic Support Analysis and deliverables for current In-Service Support
(ISS) contracts, new bids and ad-hoc work.
Participation in the design of the Support System Solution to achieve stakeholder needs within such areas as Systems Engineering of the Support System. Analysing and reporting on design, development, test, and implementation to meet contract requirements. Assisting with ensuring that ILS procedures, processes and work practices are sufficiently comprehensive to enable production of the ILS deliverables.

Main scope of roles and tasks will be:

ILS data integrity , configuration management and engineering change success criteria.

Work to within current configuration status of systems and equipment utilising extant tools and databases ( MILIS, NAVALLOW, AMPS, TRMS and CMT-U ).

Understand Defence Seaworthiness Management System.

Lifecycle Management activities progress change records associated with engineering changes on the customers Configuration Management System.
Lifecycle management decisions associated with changes to Product Baseline data.
Identify, monitor, and rectify incorrect data elements within the customers Configuration Management System.
Audits and interfacing between internal and external parties' stakeholder. Recording ILS KPIs, weekly reports status updates.

You will be:
Able to obtain or currently have Security Clearance with minimum level Base Line Vetting and required and associated Police checks.
Engineering qualifications, the successful candidate will have experience in logistics support and system requirements for defence or maritime systems and experience in managing technical documentation lifecycles.
Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
