An opportunity exists to join our Procurement team as Procurement Social Responsibility Advisor to lead the delivery of initiatives and activities to enable Origin Procurement to build a more diverse and transparent supply chain of goods and services.

The role will be responsible for:
Lead the promotion and integration of procurement social responsibility initiatives
Ensuring Origin meets its supply chain commitments, including We Mean Business Coalition on climate change and Modern Slavery Act.
Facilitate the application of the Modern Slavery Risk Analysis (MSRA) process including the setting of corrective actions for prospective and existing suppliers to Origin
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify and facilitate social responsibility, regional buy and Indigenous supplier initiatives
Actively promote a cultural platform within the Origin Procurement that delivers innovative, entrepreneurial, and collaborative solutions.

You will need to have a positive and proactive attitude in addressing and resolving issues. You will need to have good organisational and analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.

To be considered you will have:
Awareness of procurement process design in a large/complex organisation. Specifically including the vendor on-boarding process,
Awareness of vendor risk management methodologies
Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of internal and external interfaces/stakeholders
The ability to act as internal and external interface, disseminating information and responding to queries
Some experience in managing social responsibility, regional buyer initiatives and Indigenous supplier engagement practices is preferred.
A working knowledge and understanding of procurement ERP systems e.g., Oracle, SAP.
Commercial, supply, procurement or Legal related degree is desirable but not mandatory.
Ability to occasionally travel interstate or to site (rural QLD or interstate).
