Role can be based from Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne locations.

Here’s a snapshot of your day:
Support the Chief Compliance Officer, Pacific to administer and maintain the annual Compliance plans, and the global and local regulatory compliance programs, for example, Anti-Corruption, Anti-money Laundering, Data Privacy, Conflicts of Interest, Real Estate Regulatory Compliance, Record Retention, etc
Conduct periodic Compliance Monitoring activities and prepare Compliance Reporting for the Pacific Governance Risk and Compliance Committee
Promote ethical and compliance culture and risk awareness across different levels of staff and to promote an open environment for raising concerns
Provide strategic and tactical advice to business units on a broad range of Compliance risks that are or may affect the company
Coordinate and conduct investigations of reported issues in accordance with CBRE policy, draft persuasive investigation reports, and provide recommendations and remedial measures to leadership
Other projects and tasks as required from time to time, including Merger and Acquisition compliance integration activities.

Here are some of the strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful;
Degree qualifications in Business, Accounting, Law or a similar relevant field
5+ years’ experience in Compliance, Legal, Risk or Internal Audit experience in multinational environment
Solid understanding of FCPA, Anti-corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, Know-Your-Customer Principles, Data Privacy and other regulatory requirements
Experience in the facilitation of internal investigations, creation of policies and procedures, monitoring, governance and training for the business as required
Strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret complex documents and proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a large global matrix-based organisation
Superior communication and business partnering skills, with the ability to influence and drive change
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, organizational and report writing skills; proactive and solutions focused
Experience in the real estate industry is preferred.
