Volvo Group Australia has an opening for a diligent Human Resources Services Manager to join our passionate team of HR professionals on a 12-month parental leave contract. As an inclusive HR Leader, you will be responsible for the delivery of a customer-focused quality HR service including payroll, HR administration, data & reporting and talent functions. As a member of the HR Leadership team, you will have a consultative approach, possess strong commercial acumen and a high level of integrity.

About the role:
Provide proactive, professional advice on process and document control, complex HR policy interpretation, employee relations issues while considering the wider business context and external factors
Lead the development of innovative policies and creative methods of working to support wellbeing, employee engagement and related initiatives
Oversee data governance of HR Reporting which measure key people performance indicators against success measures to drive continuous improvement for the team
Provide vision and transparent leadership to the HR Services team by engaging, coaching, developing and managing performance.

About you:
Respected HR Leader and trusted business partner, who has a consultative approach to engaging business leaders and stakeholders
Thrive in a contact centre environment where you can make data trusted decisions and constantly create process efficiencies
Agile, resilient with an ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
Have initiative, exercise sound judgement and review the status quo
Strategic, with a creative & growth mindset, taking personal accountability for your results and your progression

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Tertiary qualified in Business, with a major in HR or related discipline
Experienced in MS Office 365, including Sharepoint and easily navigate HR systems including SAP, Micropay and ConnX preferred
Experienced managing a Payroll function, including interpreting multiple EBA’s, Incentive Programs and strong knowledge of related legislation and systems
Recent experience managing a shared services model, including payroll, HR administration, analytics and recruitment
Experience working in a global / matrix company would be advantageous.
