Description


RACQ is seeking Employee Relations Officer for a 12 month parental leave cover at RACQ. To provide professional, comprehensive and commercially focused support within the Employee Relations Employee Relations and Corporate Legal department.

This role would consider a recent graduate or an induvial late in their university degree as the role has flexibility to consider Part Time if required.

About you

You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of transactions across each of ourEmployee Relations/Industrial Relations team tasks.

You will be performing a broad range of tasks including:

  • Preparation for enterprise agreement negotiations, including research.
  • Handling enquiries from stakeholders in relation to enterprise agreement interpretation and industrial law obligations.
  • Investigating complaints and grievances.
  • HR risk and governance, including enterprise agreement risk assurance activities.
  • Process documentation for the Employee Relations/Industrial Relations team.

You will have a Bachelor of Laws or HR related degree and a keen interest and specialty in Employee Relations/Industrial Relations.

You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills with a strong sense of diplomacy, problem-solving and decision-making abilities and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
