About the role

Due to an internal promotion, Onsite has a rare opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our sales team. Reporting to the Regional Business Development Manager - Northern, the role is responsible for developing and maintaining the relationship between Onsite and a Tier 0 and Tier 1 customer across all levels of the business. In this role you will:

  • Forge and maintain strong relationships with new & existing tier 1 and 0 customers 
  • Assist in the development of the sales strategy 
  • Identify and convert new sales opportunities in line with sales strategy
  • Maintain an accurate & ongoing sales pipeline
  • Aid in the tender writing & submission process
  • Aid in the development of the pricing strategy and ensure pricing compliance through the Regional Sales Manager/s
  • Identify and propose new products or market verticals
  • Develop and leverage the company’s branding & reputation
  • Complete accurate, timely, relevant, and insightful monthly reports
  • Build, foster, and maintain good working relations with all key decision-makers internally and external to the business

Skills and experience

You will have:

  • Proven experience in the strategic development of a customer portfolio (minimum 8 years in a sales position) 
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a broader team
  • Hire experience highly regarded
  • Exposure to large scale customer contracts essential
