Murrumba State Secondary College is located in a beautiful part of Brisbane's northern suburbs, with easy access to the thriving Brisbane City, the relaxing foreshores of Moreton Bay or the endless beaches of the Sunshine Coast.

The College opened in 2012 and has grown rapidly, becoming the school of first choice in the Murrumba area. Our College features world class learning programs delivered in impressive and expansive new facilities, and a wide range of innovative learning technologies.

Murrumba State Secondary College opened in 2012 with 324 students, and in 2021 has reached an enrolment population of approximately 1800 students.

Your Opportunity

The HOD Technologies will lead the continued development of staff capability in designing and delivering quality learning programs in the areas of ITD, Hospitality, ICT and Fashion.

The successful candidate will require a broad range of leadership capabilities and will have the drive, passion and commitment necessary to lead Murrumba staff and students on a journey from good to great.

Your Role

  • Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.

A Mandatory Requirement Of This Role Is
