Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) Manager

STRATEGY:

  • Facilitate S&OP Meetings and collaborate with key teams (Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Category) to achieve a consensus plan

  • Aggregate the plan and assumptions (in collaboration with Supply Chain Planning Managers) and challenges /risks/opportunities raised within the process so that they are transparent, communicated and actionable across KCANZ and our extended supply partners

  • Prepare Monthly S&OP decks (across DR, SR, MBR) using cross functional input

  • Manage S&OP activities that provide analysis which drive business decisions relative to improving service level and efficiency via streamlining processes and cost savings projects (Continuous Improvement)

  • Manage and challenge key performance metrics – Forecasting, Inventory Control, Adherence to Plan

  • Develop support metrics, tools and reporting to assist the key functions in achieving key performance metrics

  • Work closely with the Planning Managers and Sector teams on new product introductions and life cycle management

  • Implement and optimise S&OP change programs to move the business through the S&OP Gold Standard Maturity model ensuring sustainability

  • Coach and lead the Supply Chain planning teams through the change required to be best in-class Gold Standard

  • Highlight areas of risk to the annual and monthly P&L

  • Bring forward ideas to close the gap between the annual target and forecast and manage those activities within the planning team

  • Design and implement improvement projects to improve the S&OP Process and ultimately Supply Chain responsiveness

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL

  • Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in supply chain management

DESIRABLE

  • CI/LEAN Green Belt or higher

  • APICS CIPM / CSCP or equivalent

Experience, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team

  • Ability to work in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities in tight deadlines

  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactical with a bias for action

  • Ability to make decisions that are a “best for business” approach

  • Experience with S&OP forums, reviews and procedures

  • Logistics (front and back end) expertise

  • Cross functional experience is a must

  • SAP/APO-SNP knowledge

DESIRABLE

  • Tableau

  • Power BI

  • Experience working in a matrix/global organisation
