JOB DESCRIPTION

The Role:

Finance / Accounts & Office Administration

Job tasks and responsibilities.

  • Managing customers and data in XERO, Unleashed and Fieldfolio
  • Reconciling of online and marketplace transactions Shopify/Paypal/Afterpay/Stripe
  • Bank Reconciliations across multiple accounts
  • Invoicing
  • Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
  • Prepare monthly reports for key groups
  • Administer & manage group rebates
  • Prepare management reports as required
  • Assist customers with their enquiries regarding their accounts, credit application and general information via email and phone
  • Evaluation and processing customer credit claims
  • Process Credit card payments
  • Manage employee expenses
  • Other office/administrative/reception tasks as needed
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, sales team members and office staff
  • Generating regular and scheduled reports

Qualifications & experience

  • Previous wholesale/manufacturing consumer goods Industry experience (preferred)
  • 3-5years experience in a similar role
  • Experience with XERO is highly desirable
  • Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
  • Experience in using Unleashed (preferred) , DEAR, Cin7 or other cloud inventory software.
  • Strong attention to detail is paramount.
  • Knowledge of BOMs / Assemblies / Builds (desired)
  • Experience with high-volume transaction business
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities
  • Qualifications in Accounting or Finance will be highly regarded, although a proven record of experience within this role will also be considered.
  • Must have a fantastic work ethic, be able to think outside the square and have a can do attitude to fit the culture of the business.
  • To be successful in this role, you will ideally have a Finance/Accounting/Bookkeeping background.
