About the role
Our Client , a local Car Dealership in Mount Isa, selling and servicing new and used cars and specialising in Ford, Nissan, Mitsubishi & Suzuki makes and models, are seeking an experienced Service Centre Manager to run an efficient service department by ensuring productive staffing, customer retention and maintenance of all service records. FIFO or Relocation assistance on offer for the right candidate.

  • Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm
  • $52 per hour flat rate
  • Immediate Start
  • Mentors and monitors the performance of all Service Department staff,
  • Preparation and administration of annual budgets,
  • Monitors and maintains department performance through various reports, tracking systems and surveys,
  • promotes new and repeat business through marketing plans,
  • compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures,
  • Monitors and follows up on parts orders to ensure availability,
  • Recommendations of new equipment and tools,
  • Liaise with factory representatives,
  • Prepares pricing guides and maintenance menus,
  • Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Service Centre Manager or equivalent,
  • Light Vehicle Trade Qualification,
  • Demonstrated strong leadership & team management skills,
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service skills,
  • High level of computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office programs,
  • genuine commitment to providing exceptional customer service,
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
