The Role:

Our Gladstone office has become the cornerstone of growth and opportunity within Worley’s Australia East business. This role of Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer is part of a recruitment drive to expand our current high performing team to enable us to deliver on a range of exciting projects. Being a part of this location and team will bring you stretch opportunity, new learning experiences with new colleagues and with a broader reach into the Worley business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver electrical and instrumentation engineering services that meet Worley’s, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Project delivery across various multi-discipline brownfield projects.
  • Engage directly with our clients to ensure a successful delivery of our projects and to continue to build our relationships.
  • Supporting Brownfield projects from conception to commissioning.
  • Provide technical support within the discipline team, liaise with the project team and consult with relevant resources as required
  • Perform electrical and instrumentation engineering services such as:
      • assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules.
      • identify and report changes to project scope.
      • execute power system modelling, equipment/cable sizing, instrumentation specification.
      • assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, datasheets, calculations, scopes of work and reports within a brownfield environment.
      • contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions.
      • participate in project kick-off meetings, site inspections, design reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs and constructability reviews.
      • provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
