JOB DESCRIPTION

EasyR is one of Australia's largest and fastest-growing motorcycle parts & riding gear retailers. We are a proudly Australian-owned company based in Brisbane, with over 25 years of combined experience in the motorcycle industry.

We are looking to add a Full-Time Software Engineer to the team. This full-time position will entail you working within the IT team in our Brisbane CBD office. Responsibilities for this job include designing, implementing, and managing software, from layout to function to support various business operations. This position is suitable for a Mid-Level software engineer with a minimum of 2-year job experience.

Your job will include but not limited to:

  • Creating and new programs
  • Testing and evaluating new programs
  • Determining the suitability of new programs & implementing new programs in the most ideal method
  • Maintaining and making improvements to the current IT system
  • Training end-users
  • Working with sales staff & content developers to gain specialized industry knowledge
  • Keeping up to date with emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

Following technical skills are required:

  • HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript
  • Git
  • Jenkins & Bitbucket
  • Project management tools such as Jira, Trello, etc
  • C#
  • Java
  • Creating and consuming APIs using C# or Java
  • Experience with file parsing (XML, CSV, TSV, etc)

Following skills or experience are preferred but not required:

  • Backend development
  • Graphic design (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc)
  • Node.js
  • React, Vue or Angular
  • WooCommerce/ Neto eCommerce
  • UI & UX design

Candidates with a passion for motorcycles, MX, BMX, or cycling will have a higher chance of being successful for the job.
