Your new company
Client is major international player in the logistics space. They push technology solutions to the market to drive increased efficiencies and to reduce the carbon footprint versus traditional providers.
As result of ongoing need, they are looking to engage the services of an experienced Facilities supervisor / Facilities Coordinator with experience of multi-site portfolio of tenanted buildings

Your new role
The facilities lead is responsible for looking after a mixed portfolio of industrial and commercial sites. The sites tend to be smaller in size but larger in number and currently across QLD, NSW and the ACT. The facilities supervisor is responsible for all building maintenance and soft services including current contractor management and the procurement of new providers across the portfolio. The sites are predominantly tenanted buildings so less technical base build expertise and more stakeholder and contract management required.

What you'll need to succeed
Candidates would need to be experienced facilities professionals with experience of a similar portfolio. Ideally candidates would have enough technical knowledge to be able to manage maintenance subcontractors and marry that with excellent stakeholder management, contract management and procurement experience. Candidates would need to hard working with strong communication skills and bring an energetic, innovative approach to their work. The nature of the work the client does means technology is always at forefront as they always look to push the envelope. As such, candidates would need very strong IT skills. If candidates had experience with logistics business, or any experience with property or leasing that would be ideal.

What you'll get in return
Client is looking for an asap start and an initial 12 month contract. They are offering role with a market leader and a working environment that looks to be innovative and energetic and constantly looking for new, better ways to deliver their service. Suggest hourly rates between $40-45 ph plus super. Worth adding that the role would require some interstate travel. Suggest 3-4 days per month on average.
