Open Projects Group is a commercial shopfitting company with core business centering around the hospitality industry.

Our Gold Coast Head Office is seeking an experienced Reception / Accounts / Administration assistant to join our team. This role will ideally suit a someone who is passionate about providing service and accounts admin support at the same time creating great first impressions as the face of our organisation. This position is available for immediate start.

On a daily basis you will undertake a range of tasks and will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Greeting visitors in a polite and professional manner
  • Answering phone calls in a courteous and professional manner whilst directing calls to the appropriate staff member / or taking messages.
  • Handling general enquiries over the phone and via email.
  • Greeting showroom customers and assisting them with product information.
  • Data Entry of all incoming supplier invoices and purchase order matching and working with Financial Controller on general accounting functions
  • Filing and scanning of documents
  • Matching of accounts payable documents for processing.
  • Banking, stationary orders, mail collection
  • General office day-to-day duties to assist and support other staff as required.
  • Updating of project spreadsheets relating to equipment purchases and incoming deliveries
  • Preparation of meeting areas as needed
  • Phone system management
  • Other administration duties on an as required basis

Skills and Experience

  • Friendly and professional phone manner.
  • Reliable team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office 365.
  • Experience using Quickbooks online with previous AP experience
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Quick learner and ability to keep up with fast-paced environment.
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
  • Previous experience in a similar role (Min 5 years)
