About Your Role

As the Planning Superintendent within our Maintenance Services Department, your key accountabilities are to manage a team to safely deliver planning scheduling and budgeting functions at their optimal performance. Reporting directly to the Manager – Maintenance Services, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:

  • Driving and promoting a strong safety culture in line with QAL values
  • Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures
  • Leading the development and optimisation of QAL’s Work Management planning, scheduling and budgeting process and supporting the SAP business system
  • Directing the ongoing training and development of personnel involved in Work Management to nsure adequate system knowledge and capability
  • Providing Asset Management reporting to support business operations and continuous improvement activities
  • Active collaboration and delivery of a quality service to key stakeholders
What You Will Bring

To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, environment, continuous improvement and business targets
  • Proven track record of managing people and change processes
  • Qualifications in Maintenance Management, Engineering or Planning would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills
  • SAP, SAP BW, MS Project and Excel knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated scheduling and planning experience
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to manage complexity and progress multiple issues
