We now have a twelve-month opportunity for a National Lease Administration Manager

About the Role:

The role sits within our Leasing and Network team, which hold responsibility for developing and executing our property portfolio strategy. The National Lease Administration role will hold responsibility for leading and managing a team of leasing administrators who ensure that all leasing activities, processes, and data are executed in accordance with Company policies and guidelines. You will combine your strong internal relationships with Legal, Finance and Property and Store development and external relationships with Landlords, Managing Agents and Solicitors to deliver the required outcomes.

The role will require you to deliver on the following:

  • Support the Group Leasing Function in delivery of network opportunities through formalising commercial and lease terms
  • Ensure effective operational delivery of the lease administration, including detailed reporting, audit support and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage all financial activities for all lease agreements, including audit and compliance with agreed terms, cost analysis, budget preparation and projections, sub lease collections, payments, reconciliation and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships (internal and external) to ensure efficient documentation of leasing transactions and timely, accurate occupancy cost payments
  • Ensure Leasing Administration business policies and procedures are adhered to in order to mitigate risk
  • Lead and develop the team to deliver successful outcomes

About You:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for our business and a strong delivery mindset - adapting quickly as we work together in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in using Lease Administration Database Software (SAP Real Estate module / Lease Eagle)
  • Experience in preparing and the on-going management of budgets
  • Demonstrated leadership of a team and function
  • Demonstrated experience in Retail and/or Commercial Lease Administration
  • Strong commercial and property acumen
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of Retail Leasing legislation
  • Highly developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with ability to understand issues, manage expectations, gain agreement, and resolve conflict
  • People leadership skills including Coaching and Mentoring
  • Well-developed ability to engage at all organisational levels, build lasting relationships and influence key stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
