About the Role
Anglo American is a leading global mining company with a portfolio of world-class coal mining operations and undeveloped resources. Anglo American produces and exports the highest quality hard coking coal around the world to be used for steel production for critical building and infrastructure.

Ventia is contracted to provide Hard and Soft FM services including village maintenance and accommodation to a number of Anglo American sites across the Bowen Basin.
Reporting to the Contract Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance and broader Contract team with a key focus on Vendor Management, Payroll and contract F&A.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the ‘Procure to Pay’ process ensuring SAP (Ariba) utilised for PO’s / Receipting / Payment of vendors
  • Managing Vendor reconciliations and enquiries
  • Ensure all timesheets have been entered into Payroll system (Finance Officer), ensuring correct costings into general ledger
  • Partner with the Payroll to ensure a timely and accurate payroll takes place

The Person

Joining you on the journey will be 2 Finance Officers who you will support, lead and mentor as part of your role. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Accounting Diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge and experience using SAP, Word and Excel
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders
  • Self motivated and customer focussed
  • Reconciliations experience (Vendor Accounts, Accounts Payable and General Ledger Accounts)
