The Head of People and Culture will be a collaborative people and change leader who can engage, inspire, influence and cultivate the benefits of a high-performing culture. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a unique opportunity for an exceptional human resource executive to lead the people and culture agenda for the second largest Council in Australia.

You will have a focus on employee experience, strategy development, change management and the delivery of people outcomes in a complex, diverse organisation. This Executive role is a critical and influential member of the City's Senior Leadership Team, and pivotal to the success of the organisation's people and culture reform agenda.

You will be a senior HR leader who thrives on the complexity and scale that exists within one of Queensland's most exciting and diverse City Councils. In previous roles you have demonstrated the ability to influence across a large organisation and to drive and implement business-focussed HR strategies and plans. You will be comfortable leading Industrial Relations matters including Enterprise Agreement negotiations, overseeing organisational reforms and culture change programs as well as driving improvement in performance management and value for money.

You will be compensated with a highly competitive salary package including vehicle allowance.
