BDA is undergoing significant growth and is looking for a passionate ILS Specialist to join our team. We are seeking ILS professionals interested in working collaboratively across an interdisciplinary and multinational team on cutting edge systems, developing exciting new technologies in support of Australia's defence capability.

This position resides within the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) division where you will provide Supportability Design expertise to the complex acquisition of Defence material systems. As a matrix style organisation your skills and expertise will be utilised across the business to meet the needs of our programs providing you with a divers and engaging scope of work.

As a key member of our Speciality Engineering team, you will Influence the supportability design activities being undertaken to bid, develop and support our complex and technically advanced solutions. You will perform technical assessments on engineer products to identify end user support requirements and conduct analysis on technical data to determine optimal support solutions for our customers.

To be successful you will have experience in the following:

  • Knowledge of the Systems Engineering process and the Supportability Analysis interface

  • Demonstrated practical experience in performing:
    • Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA);

    • Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) analysis;

    • Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA);

    • Level of Repair Analysis (LORA); and

    • Spares and Life Cycle Cost analysis.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to operate Microsoft Office (including MS Access) applications.
